Meet the founders
Ross Rhett
An Army Vet that honorably served multiple tours for his country, he quickly transitioned into a professional career in the oil field - started at the bottom and within 5 years moved up to site manager. In 2022 Ross co-founded Independent Off-Shore Services and they are one of the fastest growing specialty services companies in the gulf. After seeing the importance of customer satisfaction and the opportunity for an on-shore industrial construction company, Sons of Liberty was born. Ross brings an immense amount of technical expertise, labor relationships, team building, management, all with customer success at the epicenter of his purpose.

Rowe Rhett
A Mechanical Engineer by trade with a start in industrial machine production at Caterpillar. He continued to develop his engineering design skill set in joining Holmac as a heavy-truck manufacturing & design engineer. In 2016 he transitioned to Voith Paper entering as an R&D Engineer and exiting as the R&D Manager, this is where he refined his managerial skill set and expanded his design expertise to an international customer base. He brings his passion for systems, processes, design expertise, and project management to the Sons of Liberty brotherhood.

Richard Rhett
A Mechanical Engineer that turned into a serial entrepreneur. His professional start was as a junior engineer with the Dept. of Homeland Security, while quickly transitioning to a program manager for large civil projects. He left this role in 2014 to venture out and start multiple successful businesses. Learning valuable lessons in serving a wide variety of customers, growing and developing efficient teams, and managing explosive growth. With excitement he has turned a new page in joining his brothers in Sons of Liberty, bringing his passion for service, technology, automation, and civil construction experience.

We have a combined total of 67 years of experience in Industrial Construction, spanning from starting at the very bottom all the way up to over 20 years of senior management in refineries, plants, and power generation.
